Sunday morning at approximately 10:30A.M. Lehigh County 911 transmitted the rescue box for 3670 MacArthur Road in front of the Dunkin Donuts (MacArthur and Columbia) for the auto extrication with fire.
On arrival, police and fire reported no entrapment. Rescue Engine 39 and Squrt 38 responded while the balance of the rescue box was cancelled.
Cetronia EMS provided aid to two patients and transported them to area hospitals. You can see by the photos and video that the Subaru Crosstrek took a direct hit to the traffic light pole after colliding with the Ford Mustang.
Whitehall Fire Police unit kept Route 145 open in both directions with lane restrictions. Columbia Street was closed at the intersection west of Route 145.
Whitehall Police patrol division is investigating.
