Friday afternoon rescue companies from Whitehall and Catasauqua were sent to Range Road in area of the golf driving range (between Eberhart & Schadt) for an auto extrication.
Catasauqua Rescue 241 arrived first-due and found two cars that collided head-on with people trapped in one of the cars. Rescue 241 used the jaws-of-life to free the occupants of the car in the grass.
Police shut the road down for several hours while they investigated that cause of the crash.
