At approximately 08:40 Sunday morning, Utility 11 (Greenawalds) was driving through Whitehall when they were flagged down for a house fire. They notified Lehigh County Radio via Radio that they had a house on fire. Lehigh County transmitted the box for 2315 North First Avenue for a working house fire alerting all Whitehall companies.
Engine 2 arrived first-due, stretched and wet a hand-line for a bathroom on fire in the 1-story house.
The home owner was aided by EMS Medic 62 and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The fire was quickly darkened down. Four engines and one Truck operated at the scene.
