Sunday afternoon, Bethlehem transmitted the box for the alarm system and quickly upgraded it to a structural fire with people trapped on the balconies at 3025 East Blvd.
On arrival, a working fire signal was transmitted and the second alarm was struck. Crews had heavy smoke from the 2-story garden style apartment building with approximately 20 units attached.
The fire was quickly knocked down after 2 lines were stretched and in operation. Everyone was rescued from the balconies and searches came up negative.
