Allentown box 2325 (7th & Washington) was transmitted at 05:17 for 738 North Seventh Street on a house fire with people trapped sending Engines 9, 4, 6, 10 (F.A.S.T.), Truck 2 and Battalion 4 (Hess).
While companies were responding, the fire dispatcher advised that people were on the roof of the building and police reporting fire from the second floor.
Battalion Chief Hess arrives and reports smoke showing from a 3-story M/O/R and signals a working fire. A water supply was established from a plug at 7th and Washington while one hand line was stretched to the second floor of the fire building.
All occupants were safely brought down to the street unharmed. They were being looked at by EMS.
All 3 floors were searched and the primary and secondary were negative. Two families were displaced by the fire.
The box was held to all the hands working on the assignment.
