At 11:40AM Monday, Northampton County stations 42, 45, 46 and EMS 49 were dispatched to 6905 Walnut Street for a house fire with entrapment.
EMS 4981 arrived and reported smoke showing from the second floor of a two – story dwelling. Stations 40 and Lehigh County 2 were dispatched at 11:46.
When the fire department arrived all four occupants were out of the house and one was transported to the hospital. A room on the second floor rear was involved in the fire.
Interior crews stretched two hand lines and quickly knocked down the fire. Stations 47 and Lehigh County 33 also assisted at the scene.
