It all started early Saturday morning in Allentown when reports came in for a shooting with victim at 523 North Penn Street.
When Newsworking arrived, a police car and Medic Supervisor unit left the seen in a hurry, possibly transporting the victim in the police car. The mutual Aid ambulance from Cetronia was canceled.
Police officers were seen canvassing the area on Allen between Penn and Mohr Street. North of Allen on Mohr Street more police officers and patrol cars were seen. Police say they have one person in custody for this shooting. The condition of the person shot is unknown.
Meanwhile, another shooting occurred at 208 North Hazel Street off of Turner Street.
The victim of this shooting died and the crime scene established. It happened an hour or so after the Penn Street shooting.
Early Saturday afternoon, Allentown police were summonsed to another crime scene that was discover at an apartment near 7th and Walnut Streets.
Someone was stabbed to death overnight. A witness at the scene heard an argument earlier in the morning. When the person opened the door to her apartment she discovered a large amount of blood and called the police.
After the Allentown stabbing investigation, Lehigh County Alburtis Rescue 141 was called to assist Berks County after a freight train ran over a teenage boy.
Topton called for Alburtis to assist at the Hilltop Road Railroad crossing in Long Swamp Township after the teen was run over and still under the train. He was extricated and rushed to the trauma center with injuries including amputation of some lower extremities.
