Sunday morning a fire broke out at the Fountain Court Shopping Center located at 3180 Route 611 in Bartonsville, Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
The massive blaze brought fire departments from 6 counties and 2 states. It all started around 8:00am, possibly in the Escape Room business on the first floor. Crews thought they had the fire under control but shortly after, the fire reignited and rapidly started to extend to the rest of the center. All the businesses in the center were destroyed. The fire eventually went to 4 plus alarms.
Busy Route 611 was closed in both directions and reopened around 5:00pm.
State Police Fire Marshall office is investigating.
