Lehigh County 9-1-1 received a call from a female reporting her house on fire at 15 Laubach Avenue in Northampton and transferred the call to Northampton County 9-1-1 center. They dispatched Stations 42, 43 (N. Catasauqua), 46 (East Allen), 15 (Hanover) and EMS 49 at 18:32.
Police arrived at 18:35 and reported a working fire. First due Engine 4212 arrived and stretched one hand line to the “Delta” side of the house. A second hand line was stretched to the front door where crews advanced into the 1st floor. Crews found a kitchen fire with extension into the walls of the dwelling.
