Approximately 15:45 hours Tuesday, Whitehall Rescue companies responded to MacArthur Road and Lehigh Street for the auto extrication.
Once on scene, rescue workers found a car over the embankment and a car on the highway. Firefighters put the jaws-of-life in-service on the car over the embankment where one male was heavily pinned under the dashboard.
After they extricated the driver, firefighters turned their attention on the driver of the car that is on the highway. A total of 3 people were transported to the hospital.
MacArthur Road was closed northbound for approximately 4 hours while police used a drone to reconstruct the accident.
