Lehigh County (PA) 911 transmitted the box for a house fire at 351 Franklin Street in Alburtis Borough at 12:20PM Thursday after being called in by a patrol officer.
Police removed two civilians from the home prior to the arrival of the fire department. Firefighters rescued two cats and administered oxygen before transporting them to a local vet.
The fire gutted the one story home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
