Thursday morning around 10:26, Allentown Police and EMS were dispatched to 1905 17th Street SouthWest for a reported shooting.
As units responded, the dispatcher was updating that a woman was on the sidewalk bleeding and the shooter possibly still inside the house.
The female was transported to the trauma center in critical condition where she later died.
32-year-old Matthew Jensen was found at a Wal-Mart in New Jersey and taken into custody safely and charged with homicide.
