Newsworking visited the city of Philadelphia for the past two Saturday’s and went to 2 house fires and visited the firehouse of Pipeline 50, Ladder 12, Battalion 8 and Medic 22.
On Saturday evening March 25th, we responded to a house fire on West Rush Street just a block from the firehouse and shot the video shown below. Firefighters rescued a man from the second floor of the burning rowhome.
A week later on Saturday April 2nd, we responded to Weymouth Street for a dwelling and shot the video below:
While visiting the firehouse in North Philly, Battalion 8 was called to a dwelling fire as the second in chief. Here’s the video of that response:
On Sunday April 3rd, we took in a factory fire in Reading, Pennsylvania. The old factory went to 3-alarms and was demolished the following day.
