Wednesday morning at 00:22 hours, Northampton 42 along with Stations 43, 45 and 46 responded to a report of a house fire at 1719 Hokendauqua Avenue in Northampton.
Chief 42 arrived and reported a working fire in a bedroom on the 2nd floor of the two story dwelling. Hanover Station 15 was added for the F.A.S.T. company.
Engine 42 arrived and stretched a hand line to the second floor and made a quick hit of the fire. The engine used a hydrant at 18th and Hokendauqua for a water supply.
A back up hand line was stretched but never wet. Truck 46 arrived and positioned in front of the home and their members went to the roof to cut a vent hole.
