Sunday afternoon Whitehall Police and Fire Department responded to a car fire at the Firestone Tire Center at the Lehigh Valley Mall for a car fire. The patrol officer arrived first and reported the car fully-involved.
An off-duty firefighter assisted the Whitehall police officer in attacking the fire using two fire extinguishers. Whitehall Fire Department responded with 2 Engines (Fullerton & West Catasauqua Stations). The fire was out before the F.D. arrived. A booster line was used to wet down the engine compartment of the BMW.
