Tuesday afternoon, Lehigh County Fire Radio transmitted the box for Whittier Place Apartments on Walnut Street in Catasauqua for a building fire sending Stations 2 and 18 (North Catasauqua) and Medic 75.
On arrival, chief 202 reports light smoke from roof of two-story multiple dwelling and has Ladder 231 go to the roof to investigate. It was later determined that it was steam from a dryer vent.
As companies were taking up at this call, a rescue box was transmitted for an over-turned car on the Pine Street bridge.
