Tuesday evening, Whitehall Fire Department sent Engines 3, 13 and 4 to North 3rd Street and Center for the automobile fire.
Engine 13 arrived under the command of Assistant Chief Bilder and stretched a hand line to quickly extinguish the engine compartment fire.
A tow truck towed the van immediately after it was extinguished. The cause of the fire is unknown.
