Approximately 01:22AM Allentown Fire Radio transmitted box 6317 for 522 Benner Road for the apartment building fire sending Engines 10, 9, 4, 11 (F.A.S.T.), Truck 1 and Battalion 43.
Enroute to the box, Fire Radio advised of multiple calls being received, with that, the Chief special-called Truck 2 to the scene. Police arrived and reported fire showing. The Battalion then ordered the working fire signal.
Engine 10 arrived first-Due and reported heavy fire showing from the roof of a 3-story apartment building and struck out the 2nd alarm sending Engines 6 and 14. Battalion 43 ordered Engine 9 to conduct search and rescue. Engine 10 reported fire in apartment 201 and possible people trapped in the apartment next to it.
At approximately 01:34 Battalion 43 transmitted the 3rd alarm bringing in the last city engine, Engine 13. The fire originated in apartment 201 but extended into the cockloft. Ladder 1 opened up the roof at the other end of the building. The fire was under control within 30 minutes.
