At 11:40pm Monday evening, Lehigh County transmitted the box for 30 South 2nd Street Emmaus Borough for a fire in apartment 10 of the occupied multiple dwelling (OMD).
Police arrived and reported a working fire. Engine 7 (Emmaus) arrived first-due and found fire on the top floor of the 3-story building and stretched a hand-line and quickly darkened down the fire. The second alarm was transmitted.
Two civilians were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
