Just before 15:30 Sunday afternoon, firefighters from southern Lehigh County and Bucks County responded to 333 North Main Street in Coopersburg for a structural fire.
Assistant 4-02 arrived on scene and reported a working fire in a large 2-story garage to the rear of the address on Spruce alley. The initial call was for a chicken coop on fire and that all the chickens were deceased. The coop was attached to the garage.
The chief immediately struck the 2nd alarm and shortly after, added two tankers and one engine above the 2nd.
